Christmas isn’t too far away at Flour Power Fort Mill. In fact, we're sleighing in some summer fun with our Christmas in July camp! We'll take a culinary vacation back to cooler days with some delicious holiday recipes! Roast Beast Sliders, Frosty's Melted Snowman Soup with Grilled Cheese, Santa's Hat Pizzas, Reindeer Crescent Dogs. & more!
Does your child dream of owning a bakery? This is the camp for you! We'll learn to decorate cookies and cupcakes using buttercream icing, royal icing and fondant. Campers will work in teams to create a vision for their own bakery: coming up with a name and location, planning a menu, pricing considerations, and designing a layout for their storefront. Our ovens will be getting a workout with this week-long baking camp because we’ll also learn to make delicious savory baked lunches.
What is a Street Food? Join us for this camp as we create our own International Street Food Festival with foods from around the world. By the end of camp, you will have tried many foods made at markets, fairs, food carts and more. Which one will be your favorite? Maybe Mexican Street Corn, Baked Beignets, Poutine Fries, Potstickers, or even the Chicken Souvlaki. Come join the fun and be ready to taste some new recipes.
We’ll be rolling away the week with our own Food Truck Rodeo…Flour Power style! Join us for a fun filled, creative week as we create foods that you might find at popular food trucks and…you will work with your team to create a food truck concept, including design and recipes! Krazy Kabobs, Taco Toss-ups, Pizza Palooza and so much more! This week will focus teamwork and creativity with food!
